After having been in the beta event for Rift, it goes without saying that Rift is another game that gamers could do with a guide. For anyone who wants to stand out from the crowd, level up fast or so, it could better achieve with a manual to go by. I would recommend the Rift Planes of Telara Strategy Guide offered at the killerguides.com online store.

As the guide name states, it’s a strategy guide. After flicking through the first few pages, I was amazed at the amount of strategies that were laid out in front of me. There were unique leveling methods to speed-level to the top, strategies to keep my pockets full of gold, tips to taking down the most difficult bosses or PvP challenges and much much more.

The strategies provided is a definite help to gamers throughout the game, whether it’s making more gold and silver or leveling up much faster. When purchasing game guides, there are three important things to consider. First, is it a scam? Second, does it contain details that could get my account banned? And third, will the content become obsolete when the game gets updated?

The manuals by Killer Guides answers all those concerns. The Rift guides they offer are 100% legit, all the content are legit and guide updates are offered free of charge for anyone who have already purchased the guide. The strategies offered in the manuals include those from helping the new player get started on the game, to advanced strategies that the serious and competitive players would simply love. The Rift Strategy Guide is highly recommended for anyone serious about climbing up the reputation ladder in Rift.

Trion Worlds have just made more details about the PvP Souls and the warfronts available at the official site. Find out what the victory conditions are for the warfronts and the PvP rewards to expect. Read the full article here.

Rift is a game that offers many different types of quests. The two major quest types are ofcourse the storyline one and the one that is related to earning the souls (subclasses).

Other quest are those such as end-game quests, quests that provide special rewards which tends to not be related to the storyline, dailies which are obtained from entering dungeons, hidden quests and finally, those that everyone loves, quests that are done just for the fun of it.

Quests that involves raid and instance bosses are referred to heroic challenges and winning those bosses is ultimately the quest. Like other MMORPGs, there are quests that must be done solo, could be done solo and may require an entire party to complete. Chains of quest are also featured in Rift which tends to involve one quest leading to the other and must be done sequentially. There are many resources for Rift questing in forums, community sites as well as an entire Rift guide dedicated to listing out all the available Rift quests.

On the other hand, there are dailies are quests that could be done over and over again to gather experience or so. Rift also makes this sort of quest available.

There are 4 main classes/callings in Rift with a large number of Rift souls to choose from. Once you choose your class and souls, you cannot go back. Each calling is unique and has its own advantages and disadvantages compared to other classes. Each class has several souls a gamer can choose from. One character can maintain up to 3 Rift souls at a time. Below is a short Rift souls guide.

There are four classes in Rift: the warrior, cleric, rogue, and mage. The Rift guide to the souls shows how each class is broken down into its souls.

In the warrior class, you can opt to be one of the following Rift Warrior souls for starters: a champion, reaver, paladin, warlord, paragon, riftblade, and void knight. As you progress, you’ll get to choose 2 more Rift warrior souls. A couple examples are as follows. Champions are great melee fighters while being weak to sneak attacks because of impatience. Paladins have great protection, counterattacks, and shield-handling, but they are weakened because they are slow.

In the cleric class, you can opt to be a one of the following Rift cleric souls: purifier, inquisitor, sentinel, justicar, shaman, warden, and druid. A few examples are as follows. Purifiers are great at using fire to heal allies while being weak with their attack skills. Shamans are great with melee and winter magic, but they are weak because they do not have any healing abilities.

In the rogue class, you can opt to be a nightblade, ranger, blade dancer, assassin, riftstalker, marksman, and saboteur. Again, you have the choice of 3 rogue souls in total. A couple examples, about the souls are as follows. Nightblades are great with their silence attacks against enemies, but they are weak due to their endurances. They are poor in time consuming battles. Assassins are great with their surprise attacks. They are almost invisible to their enemies, but they are weak if they choose the wrong enemy to fight. The assassin uses poisonous blades, and some enemies are immune to poison. Be careful to not miss your sneak attack.

In the mage class, the available Rift Mage souls are elementalist, warlock, pyromancer, stormcaller, archon, necromancer, and dominator. A few examples are as follows. An elementalist is great by using all of the elements. They can call on each of the elements for assistance during a battle. If an elementalist does not have its elements, he is weakened with limited abilities to defend himself. A stormcaller is great by using air and water magic together to win battles but weak without this magic. Stormcallers have poor defense and cannot defend much without magic.

Hope this brief Rift souls guide can aid you in some ways when choosing your character. Choose wisely as each soul presents different abilities and thus may or may not fully fit your character preference.

The final Rift Beta event starts this February 15. News has it that gamers will also get a chance to win an NVIDIA video card. Servers will be accessible starting from 10:00 AM PST on February 15 up to 7:00 AM on February 21.

Rift Guide

Rift Planes of Telara is a brand new massively multi player online role playing game that introduces a radical concept to the way that online role playing games are played. The world of Telara, which is where the game is set, has been fractured by a series of violent rifts. These rifts are causing the world of Telara to buckle and churn and in turn each rift causes a series of cataclysmic events. Each of these events, known as a rift, causes damage, death, and destruction to the people of Telara. As a character in Telara, it is your task to survive. You can choose to accomplish one of a couple ways but the bottom line is that you can either let the rifts work against you or try and tame the power of the rifts to work for you.

The Rift Planes of Telara Guide will guide you though each of these difficult decisions surrounding how you will play the game. You must decide whether you will align yourself with a faction that chooses to work with the power of the rifts, or join a faction which is trying to work against the power of the rifts and seal their destructive energy forever. This decision is made at the beginning of your character’s creation and the Rift Telara Guide will help you make your choice and make sure that you choose the one that will help you much further in the future.

The Rift Telara Guide will also teach you all of the important details surrounding the brand new class system in the world of Telara. You can choose from hundreds of combinations of characters and each character comes with their own unique set of skills and abilities. The vast array of characters that you can choose from makes it imperative that you have a quality guide to walk you through your character selection. Choosing the right character will help you enjoy your gaming experience as you travel through the world of Telara.

The Rift Telara Guide will also give you the skills to raise your character to the highest levels in the game. The leveling system within Rift is set so there really are no limits on the power you can have as a player. You are free to try and reach the boundaries of your playing skill as you seek to be the best character you can be. A comprehensive guide will help you get there.

For players looking to aid teammates and punish foes, the Rift shaman and Rift sentinel bring a formidable arsenal of magic to any fight. Unleash the power of animal spirits on enemies with the Rift shaman class, or save teammates from peril with the healing abilities of the Rift sentinel class. No matter which route you prefer, each class is more than capable of turning the tide of any battle.

Rift Sentinel

The Rift shaman believes that the best defense is a good offense, as they prefer to attack enemies in hand to hand combat. Drawing upon animal spirits to bolster their attacks, Rift shamans deal a combination of magic and physical damage, allowing them to penetrate any defense. Ensure that enemies aren’t able to escape with spells like vengeance of the bitter wind and vengeance of the frozen earth, slowing their movement speed to a crawl and preventing them from casting spells. And once you’re sure your adversaries aren’t able to escape, unleash the powerful rage of the north ability, ensuring each strike inflicts maximum damage. The Rift shaman is also excellent at staying alive in fights, due to abilities like unstoppable force and glory of the chosen healing the shaman when damage is dealt to an opponent. and abilities like

The Rift sentinel prefers to take a more strategic approach to combat. Employing spells like heroic blessing and healer’s covenant will increase allies endurance and resistance to damage, allowing them to stay in a fight longer. In an emergency, they are able to use powerful abilities like touch the light and divine call, which allow them to heal the wounds of their allies instantly. Luminous grace and quietus both provide excellent offensive support options, making sure your allies inflict extra damage on enemies and preventing adversaries from casting harmful spells. Rift sentinels are also able to cheat death itself with life’s return and breath of life, bringing their allies back from the dead to do battle once more.

Players that are looking to support their team are sure to find something to like in both the Rift shaman and Rift sentinel class. Whether harnessing the power of the elements as the Rift shaman, or keeping allies alive with the healing powers of the Rift sentinel, enemies are sure to fear your presence.

Players looking to get up close and personal with their enemies need look no further than the rift champion and rift void knight. Because both classes are part of the warrior archetype, there are a few basic things they have in common. Plate armor allows both the rift champion and the rift void knight to survive the most punishing physical damage in the game. Also, unlike classes that cast spells, warriors don’t use mana as a resource. Their abilities rely instead on a resource called energy, which recharges much more quickly than mana. This allows warriors to perform abilities much more often than spell casters. However, that’s where the similarities end, as both classes offer two very distinct styles of play.

The rift champion prefers to fight aggressively, wielding a two handed weapon and closing in on opponents to deal extreme amounts of physical damage. Any attempts to keep them and their deadly weapon out of arms reach will be completely futile, thanks to moves like cornered beast and leg sweep, which make sure the rift champion is always able to keep their opponent nearby. And once the rift champion has an opponent weakened, the powerful deathblow move becomes available to finish weakened enemies off.

The rift void knight specializes in disrupting spell casters, prohibiting them from unleashing their full arsenal of deadly spells. Employing a deadly combination of moves that directly attack caster’s resources, draining their mana reserves and leaving them unable to cast their deadly arsenal of spells. At higher levels, rift void knights will be able to master the deadly power sink move, causing a rift in space and damaging all enemies caught inside. Perhaps most devastating of all the rift void knight’s abilities is the ability to reflect enemy spells back at their caster, preventing any damage that would have been inflicted to the rift void knight and instead dealing it to the spells caster.

Whether you enjoy charging in recklessly and mercilessly pummeling foes, or the more strategic approach of turning an opponents spells against them, both the rift champion and rift void knight are sure to make for thrilling adventures in the world of Telara.

Rift is a newly released fantasy MMORPG set in the world of Telara, where rifts open on the surface, allowing monsters to enter. It is the goal of players to defeat these invaders as the creatures proceed in groups towards preset population points on the map where they will kill all the inhabitants.

Characters in the game can choose between four different callings, the Cleric, Mage, Rogue and Warrior. Two of the primary Rogue callings are that of the Rift assassin and the Rift marksman.

The origin of Rift assassins traces back to the dwarf Veselav, who was the illegitimate son of the King of Hammerknell by one of the queen’s handmaidens. Set on revenge when his mother was murdered by the queen, Veselav trained as an assassin under Bogdan, his uncle. As a legendary Rift assassin, he developed his own type of poison, which he named after Ursula, the queen herself.

The Rift assassin relies on traits of evasion and trickery to bypass obstacles in the game and launch surprise attacks on enemies. The Rift assassin also relies on the use of their poisoned weapons to defeat monsters, and this and their ability to blend into the shadows, is their greatest strength. Rift assassins, like Rift marksman, are not direct combat characters or “tanks,” and only survive if they can maintain the element of surprise and avoid any enemies that can overcome the venomous effects of the poisons they wield.

Rift marksman are another calling that relies on attacks from a distance, and by surprise. They are sharpshooters who fire on enemies from safe positions, and then run away before their targets can close on their position. Rift marksman rely heavily on mobility to survive, as Rift assassins rely on subterfuge. A Rift marksman can cripple the organized movement of attacking enemies if they can avoid being cornered in the process. Rift marksman who operate in groups can be a deadly force nearly impossible to stop.

Since Rift marksman don’t rely on brute force to accomplish their aims, their ranks can be populated by women or characters that otherwise look rather harmless. Therefore, Rift marksmen develop such attributes as “Keen Eye” and “Hasty Departure” to defeat stronger foes. A Rift marksman’s greatest ability is in the deadly accuracy and firepower of its weapons, and much of a Rift marksman character’s development is therefore focused on enhancing their weapons.

When it comes to Massively Multiplayer Online games (MMOs), choosing a class tends to be one of the most difficult parts of the process. When one chooses a race, one may go by looks, special racial abilities, or even the opinion of the starting area for the character. In other words, most of the choices are less overarching, and while they affect the character in either the short term or superficial ways – like starting area or physical appearance – in terms of gameplay, choosing a class is tremendously difficult by comparison.

Rift Dominator

In Rift – the new MMO – for example, this process is made both a little easier, as well as with an added level of complexity. To be more specific, the game has traditional classes, however those classes may be further defined by specific paths that may be taken, such as the Dominator. The Rift Dominator is a subset of the Mage class which essentially specializes in areas such as crowd control (that helps a group of players control how many active enemies they fight simultaneously), as well as debuffs (which assists a group of players in succeeding over an enemy by weakening the enemy’s abilities in some way).

Meanwhile, the Rift Pyromancer is another subset of the Mage class. The Rift Pyromancer, instead of specializing in crowd control like the Rift Dominator, instead focuses on dealing damage via spells relating to the element of fire. While the Rift Pyromancer does have some crowd control abilities like the Rift Dominator, he gives up some of raw power that the Dominator has in that area of expertise and instead deals a lot more physical damage to opponents.

Rift Pyromancer

This is why the game is so revolutionary when it comes to the class system. It makes things a little easier in that, even when one chooses a class, one is not necessarily stuck in one role for that particular class. They can literally build their character into something that they want to play, even if they get a few levels in and decide they no longer like that particular flavor of the character. Meanwhile, however, it makes class selection a little more complex than traditional systems because there are so many choices down the road to try. In the end, this would leave a lot of ability to replay the game, considering there are so many eyes through which to look at the new world.

Rift Gameplay

Rift gameplay is unique and unlike any other. It is a MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game). It allows each player to be different having its own specialty attributes. Each character has missions to help protect the world of Telara. There are many secrets that this world holds.

The history of Telara starts at the last days of the Shadow War. The protective plane around Telara has been compromised, leaving it at risk to the Rifts. Other worlds want the beautiful powers that Telara has to offer. Now, the people of Telara need to work hard to preserve the goods of the land.

Rift gameplay starts by choosing a race; Guardian or Defiant. But choose wisely, for you can only pick one and due to the extreme measures being taken, you will never be able to ally with the opposite race. If you pick the Guardians, you can choose from Dwarves, High Elves, and Mathosian. Likewise, if you pick the Defiants, you can choose from Bahmi, Eth, and Kelari. There are advantages and disadvantages to every race and class.

After choosing a race, you will be able to choose your class; warrior, cleric, rogue, and mage. Each class has multiple choosing. It is a very wide variety. You will be able to mold your character to your likings by using the Soul Attunement system. Your Soul Tree will help lead you to greatness. This gives you the power of a soul who has already moved on. You will be able to use this to your advantage to be more powerful than others around you.

Your goal in the Rift gameplay is to protect your world from the horrid Rifts and all they bring with them. The evil that comes into your world is trying to take everything you know and love. You will gain experience for every monster you slay. Once you reach a new level, you become stronger and have more soul points. You will also be able to level crafting and trade skills. Use these to your advantage. They will help you overcome the evil that lurks around every corner.

The Rift gameplay is definitely a unique set-up that keeps you wanting more. The more game play you get, the stronger you become. You are a protector of your world. Make the right decisions and you may become the best. You can make history as the great protector of Telara.

From the earliest days of Telara, martial combat has always played an crucial role. In the time when war across the land was a bloody, brutal and straightforward thing, melee combat was the order of the day. This was the time of the warrior, as any Rift Rogue will tell you. The history of the Rouge began later in the history of Telara, when the melee combatants learned to fight with their brains, as well as their might.

On March 1st, Trion Worlds will release a new MMO (Massive Multi-Player Online) game. There are four callings you can choose when you play Rift. You may choose from a warrior, a mage, a cleric, or rouge. The Rift rouge is a master of the thinking man fight. You can choose from the following list of rouges souls:

Ranger: This Rift Planes of Telara rouge is a fantastic hunter who knows the attributes of all beasts in Telara. They tame the beasts of the land to become animal companions and to battle beside the Ranger. This rouge is an excellent archer engaging their enemies at range while their beast companion attacks at close quarters.

Nightblade: The Nightblade possess excellent agility and is a master of the blade. They can also call upon magic of death and fire to bring doom to their enemies. Using this magic along with their mastery of the blade, this Rift rouge defeats his enemies silently and quickly.

Assassin: This Rift rouge is a master of subterfuge and subtlety. They walk in the shadows then execute deadly surprised attacks. If a foe survives this attack, they will quickly fall to the vial poisons. The assassin is trained to use surprise to launch attacks with their poisoned daggers.

Blade Dancer: The Blade Dancer specializes in combat moves that are lightning fast. They overcome a foes defense, delivering a lethal coup de grace. Using supernatural agility and skills allows this Rift rouge to avoid attacks.

Marksman: This Rift Planes of Telara rouge uses quick hit-and-run attacks and deadly volleys to cripple and kill their foes. They are trained to thin out enemy ranks. The Marksman surgically hits his targets from a safe distance and then quickly moves away before his targets can get close to the rouge. Using hit and run tactics the marksman litters the battlefield with dead and crippled enemies.

If you enjoy being on the edge of the battle waiting for an opening then you will enjoy playing a Rift rouge when the game launches.

The Rift Warrior is the ultimate melee class in the game. The Rift Warrior can take on many different roles in battle depending on what soul they operate under. One of the most unique aspects of Rift is the soul system which allows the player to tailor their class in a great number of different ways to cope with different situations.

In Rift Planes of Telara, the warrior has a dual purpose. They are the preeminent front line fighters in the world of Rift. The Rift Warrior is capable of dealing considerable damage, while absorbing it as well. No other class in the game can match the warrior in survivability. While Rouges, and Mages may be able to inflict greater damage on average, they lack the high HP and defense that the Warrior posses. These are the men and women who stand before an oncoming avalanche of enemies, and attempt to hold them back with brute strength, and cunning use of their natural abilities.

Rift Warrior

The unique soul system in Rift allows the player to customize the role of their character to a greater extent then many people may be used to. Some souls grant the player greater survival ability when being swarmed by enemies, while other souls will grant the warrior greater destructive power, while still other souls such as the Rift Blade, and Champion help a player gear their character towards PvP combat. The Soul System is at the core of game play in Rift, so the player should take time to understand which soul is most useful in a given situation.

As a Rift Planes of Telara Warrior, the player will function in one of two major capacities. The first role the player may take on is that of a damage dealer. The Rift Warrior offers thr

ee souls specifically geared towards dealing damage, The Paragon, Beast Master, and the Reaver. These high damage Warrior souls will allow the player to wade into the thick of battle and strike down foes with mighty skills.

The second role that the Rift Warrior will often fill is that of a primary Tank. The Void Knight, Paladin, and Warlord souls are highly geared towards players who want to dive into the middle of a horde of enemies, and control them while the rest of the party burns them down. These souls feature high HP, high defense, and a number of skills to help the player hold enemy aggro.

Rift is an MMORPG that will be released in March 2011. In the game there are different callings and classes. Players will first pick which calling they want, and then choose a class within that calling. Rift Calling/Classes determine the looks and abilities of the player. Players getting to choose their own Rift Calling/Classes is part of what will make this game enjoyable for players.

One of Rift’s callings is the Warrior. Warriors are the most disciplined fighters, and their specialty is weapons. The warrior calling contains six classes. These classes are: Champions, Paladins, Paragons, Reavers, Riftblades, and Warlords. Champions carry two-handed weapons, and are especially great at melee combat. Paladins carry large shields, and are thus good defenders. Paragons carry two weapons and are very quick fighters. Reavers can spread death, disease, and madness through their weapons. Riftblades can use elemental magic. Fianlly, Warlords are inspiring and experienced leaders.

The 2nd calling is the Cleric. Clerics use magic and are able to communicate with fairies, god, and demons. There are 8 classes in the Cleric calling: Cabalists, Druids, Inquisitors, Justicars, Purifiers, Sentinels, Shamans, and Wardens. Cabalists are good at causing a lot of damage per second. Druids are good at melee combat and healing. Inquisitors steal their opponents strengths and make those strengths their own. Justicars are healers whose healing is based on how much damage they cause their opponent. Purifiers use fire to heal even the most horrific wounds. Sentinels can heal multiple people at a time. Shamans are strong and fast fighters. Wardens slowly heal allies, the healing energies slowly build up.

The 3rd calling is the Rogue. Rogues are skilled fighters who can use a cover to hide themselves from enemies until they strike. The Rogue has six classes: Assassin, Blade Dancer, Marksman, Nightblade, Ranger, and Riftstalker. Assassins are good at surprise attacks. Blade dancers are fast fighters. Marksmen use hit-and-run attacks. Nightblades are masters of the blade. Rangers are great archers. Riftstalkers have great defense.

The final calling is the Mage. Mages use elemental powers and arcane magic. The classes are: Elementalist, Warlock, Pyromancer, Stormcaller, Archon, and Necromancer. Elementalists can bind elements to physical form. Warlocks use destructive curses. Pyromancers specialize in fire spells. Stormcallers use water and wind to attack. Archons steal their opponents strengths to use for their own. Necromancers have minions to support them.
These Rift calling and classes system are what makes the game fun and unique.

If fancy robes, ancient texts and spells have been your calling, you might have been a Rift mage in a past life. Rift mages specialize in the arcane and the taboo; where there is a spiritual power to manipulate, Rift mages are there.

Mages master the elements before they tap into their calling; however many will be naturally inclined to show case their natural talents. The Rift mage branch path is divided six ways; there’s the sun shine “elementalist,” the scheming “warlock,” the fire is my best friend “pyromancer,” the creates monsoons in his hand “stormcaller,” the succubus of the soul “archon,” and the old bones “necromancer.” As a mage each of the classes specializes in a unique forte but mages boil down to direct damage, direct will attacks or minion based assaults.

A Rift mage is not tailored to close combat by any means; they primarily wear light robed armor that enhances their craft rather than their weapon smacking hand. The primary weapon of the mage is his magic, his summoned minions (dead or alive) a knife and his trusty staff. The object of the mages is to stay clear of direct conflicts whenever possible while whittling down his foe with direct and area affect spells. Supported, mages can alter the tide of battle while indulging their point of craft. Mage branches suit players who want specific damaging spells. For instance, necromancers utilize death magic to steal health and awaken the dead to fight on their behalf. A storm Caller chains area effect magic in successive rounds to overcome their enemies. Some classes like the archon literally tap into the soul and drain the will out of their opponents.

Classes like the necromancer and the Warlock will have some considerable usage when it comes down to high end events. Mages while primarily doing offensive work also work well while crippling the enemy during the attack. Damage over time spells and debuffs allow fellow party members to hit home with lesser fear of being killed. Mages work well alongside clerics and warriors for this reason, an artillery class.

Magic by any means, which transcends death, is the calling for a Rift mage to action.

Trion Worlds’ RIFT, scheduled to release on March 1, features a vast character system that allows for heavy customization. Players will choose a bare “soul calling” from four possible basic classes: warrior, rogue, cleric, and mage, then the class will advance to a more specialized state as they play.

Rift clerics are users of support magic, capable of enhancing their allies and healing injuries. Using mana as a resource, clerics are highly focused individuals who need to pay close attention to their surroundings and triage their allies when necessary.

A purifier is a Rift cleric who focuses on the healing powers of fire. They can cleanse diseases and patch wounds quickly using the element of fire. However, purifiers are not skilled in combat, and are best suited to stay to the rear and support the injured. Purifiers are not for players who want to be up close and entrenched in melee combat.

Inquisitors are clerics that walk the tightrope between life and death. Instead of choosing to solely heal and support or deal damage, they are proficient with both. The counter balance is that while they are proficient, they are not as specialized. Inquisitors can mix together their life and death magics to drain enemies and make them less potent.

Rift clerics who choose to be more defensive are sentinels. The sentinel class can equip a shield and heal many wounded allies at once. The trade off is that they are very weak in combat and struggle to deal damage to their enemies. Most games use sentinels in more of a tanking role, Rift chooses to use them as healers to keep many alive at once.

If there was a melee class out of the Cleric calling, it’s the justicar. Justicars wield one handed weapons and shields and heal others by dealing damage. Keeping these characters in the thick of combat is generally wise, as their damage will protect and heal people throughout combat, allowing for more proactive support.

Shaman choose to do heavy damage and less support. They wield the power of the elements and heavy weapons to demolish their foes. However, they are not as powerful of healers as other Rift clerics.

The final known specialization is the warden. Wardens are proficient at stacking smaller heals but keeping them up constantly. These types of spells are fantastic for people who take steady amounts of damage.
